One Day, Six Steps

What happens between our arrival and your next shower.

Here is the exact sequence, with timing, so you can plan your day around us instead of wondering. Morning is removal and prep; afternoon is grout and detail; evening is cure. Your next shower happens the following morning.

Wethersfield notes

In Wethersfield most showers run 9-to-4 with a lunch break for cure stages: Old Wethersfield owners want the 1920s tile saved, not smashed — regrout-first is the pitch that wins the historic streets. Whole baths add day two for floors and detail — still no overnight disruption beyond one missed shower.

  1. Assess & protect. Moisture check, tile bond check, fixtures and floors protected.
  2. Cut out. Failed grout removed to depth with dust-controlled tooling.
  3. Clean & disinfect. Joints vacuumed, treated and dried; tile wiped down.
  4. Re-grout. Fresh polymer grout packed full-depth, tooled smooth.
  5. Seal & caulk. Penetrating sealer plus full silicone renewal at every joint.
  6. Walkthrough. Inspect together, care guide in hand, shower-time confirmed.

FAQ

Common questions

What should I clear beforehand?

Shampoo shelves, bath toys, rugs and anything on the tub edge. We handle protection from there.

When exactly can I shower?

Next morning for standard grout. We'll confirm the hour at walkthrough based on cure and your fan situation.

Do you haul debris?

Regrouting makes almost none — a bag of grout waste and old silicone, which leaves with us. No dumpster, ever.

Do I need to be home?

For assessment and walkthrough, yes. During the workday many customers hand over a key — one quiet technician, contained work area, locked up after.
